MARCH 1 '11 Client hosted the consultants for a two-day site visit on the Free Zone Island and arranged for meetings with the local authorities to start the beginning of this world class unique and prestigious project. After precise examination of the site and the island, the architects have initiated a unique approach for master planning the project, a conscious project that is aware of its surrounding and the habitats of its island, a design that is inspired by its environment.

MARCH 9 '11 The Client along with Project Management visit Architects and Engineers at their studios to start a series of interactive workshops for the master plan phase. It's worth mentioning, during one of these workshops, following the sustainability aspects of the project, the engineers suggested to use the existing ground-coverage material from the minimal excavation of the site, which is a mix of native sand and corals, as building breaks.
